Horseshoe crabs and jellyfish

A week and a half ago we went to the beach with my aunt and her kids, to see horseshoe crabs.

We also saw lots of jellyfish, and held them.

I don't know whats with us and not seeing signs till it's too late; but when we were about to leave I found a sign that says "PLEASE DO NOT HOLD CRABS".

Though it said nothing about holding jellyfish.

A big jellyfish shay was holding.

Camping/Fishing Trip

We went up to Moose Head Sunday to camp over and fish.

We arrived at 9:30pm but it took awhile to find a campsite along the river that was available; but finally we found one. We found out in the morning why it was available, it was because there was a sign on a tree that said NO CAMPING. But it was so dark that we couldn't see it, which actually turned out to be a blessing!

It was a perfect camping site, I don't know why they wont allow people to camp there.None of us got much sleep cause it was so cold we all nearly froze to death. It was 37 degrees.
Shay forgot her sleeping bag so she had to use life jackets and towels!! Believe it or not she was the warmest of all.

Day at the Ocean

Saturday we went to the ocean for Reere's b-day with most of the family.Digging a hole.

Blog Address

I was thinking, maybe I should change the blog address. I tried /thedennyfamily/ and /dennyfamily/ but they were taken so I tried /thedennyfamilysblog/ and it was available. What do all of you think? Happy 1st Birthday Marshall

A year ago today, a little but huge gift from God came into this world.

A horrible thought is that this little boy could have had his life taken away if that is what Kayla had chosen. They say it's about choice, but what about the baby? I'm sure they would not choose death.

If that had been the case, so many would have missed this huge blessing that he has brought into our lives.
It is amazing that no matter how upset you are, if a baby smiles at you, it is almost impossible to resist smiling back.

We love you so much Marshall Philip!

Turkey Hunt

Thursday morning Lance took John turkey hunting.

It was the first time either of them had ever been,

they only had an hour and a half to hunt,

and John had never shot a gun before.

Lance called it in and John shot and hit!!

Saturday Seth went out and got one too.
