Puppies

This past summer we were blessed to be able to watch the miracle of birth and the growing up of puppies!

Belle (our dog) had them on July 11. My personal opinion is that they aren't very cute when they're born, but they're still wonderful (if you like puppies).

Thy are so cute and so much fun at this age.

the one on the far right is my aunt's dog now and she is 12" tall and full grown! she's so cute. The one on the left is my dads brothers dog, he's a little taller, both are the smallest out of all six,
(we had seven but sadly, one died 30 min. after birth).

This is Precious, She truly is.

They're so soft!

Yum!

The little runt.

Zzzzz!

This is my favorite.

Hopefully more some time soon.

Everyday Life

I just felt like posting something, but I didn't have anything in particular to post about so I'll just tell you how the new bedroom is coming along.

All is done for now except the door, trim, stairs and some shelves. Most of the trim we will finish in the spring, so it's almost done!

At the moment, the temperature is quite warm (31 degrees); this morning when we got up it was above zero!

Winter Stuff

In the midst of projects we've taken some time for some winter fun.

The men love to play hockey, so with Ethan (Kayla's five-year-old brother) as goalie, they did.

I love this picture, that's the only reason it's here.

Our family's most resent project; turning the garage into a bedroom.

Chilly!

Cutting the hole for the half hobbit door. The boy's wanted a "real round hobbit door", but they didn't want to take the time to make it.

This is just the tinted primer; the room is not really baby blue.

The Chick's came over to help us paint.

Insulating and boarding over the cement.
